Insurance, Payment & Fees

Many clients use their extended health benefits to help cover the cost of psychological services, while others pay privately. If you have questions about fees, insurance coverage, or payment, I'd be  happy to answer these questions before your first appointment.

Payment is made at the time of your appointment. Most extended health plans reimburse services provided by a Registered Psychologist, although the amount of reimbursement will vary depending upon your individual plan and the services provided.

Insurance Coverage
  • Please check your extended health coverage before your first appointment.

  • Direct billing available for ICBC.

  • Psychology services are generally not covered by MSP.

  • For more information about fees and insurance, please refer to FAQ#3.

Payment & Fees
  • Payment is due at the time of your appointment.

  • Payment by ACH Bank e-transfer.

  • Fees are $250 per 60-minute session. Court-related, medical-legal, and some insurance-related services are billed at a different rate.

  • Receipts are provided for reimbursement through most extended health plans.

  • Psychological fees, paid out of pocket, are generally income tax deductible as a medical expense; however, confirmation by a tax specialist is recommended.
